Attaches on the barrel in front of the sight and allows the mounting of weapon lights. Top mounted barrel light position puts barrel shadow below line of sight for a clear and fully illuminated sight picture. Minimized barrel contact reduces absored heat. Skeletonized body dissipates heat and reduces weight. Clears bayonet lug.
